Welcome to our Site! Boy Painting

Last quarter it was paint and water, this quarter it's Rolls of material.

We have got 2 racking bays full of cream material left over from a local screen printers. In the past this has been used to make duvet covers for tie dying (groovy baby!), costumes, scenery - even curtain lining!

We have also re-assessed our membership charges. Please check either the Latest News or Membership pages.

We are trying to encourage membership as without this support Scrapstore will cease to exist in the Swindon area in the not to distant future. Scrapstore in Swindon is a non-profit making charity that is run and operated by a 100% volunteer base.

Our concept is simple: we turn waste things into play things! By collecting local business's clean, reusable waste, we save over 100 tonnes of waste from landfill every year!

We also buy in products for our shop, such as some of our Easter range and pass on the discount we get to our customers and members.

The public are welcome and you can also find out more about becoming a member. We have recently changed our membership grades and our rules. Please see the Membership pack for details.

Our membership, consisting of over 100 community groups, can then collect these materials for use in recreational and educational craft and play. With the new grading of our membership, you can also get a discount in our ReCreation shop.

Professional face painting service

We now offer professional face-painting services for all events. The cost is £30 per hour, please contact us to find out more!
