We are Now open in the tented market!
We now have a store in the tented market where you can
purchase a lot of your favourites from our main store.
The store in the market is open Monday to Saturday 9am to
5pm.
Also for your convenience, if there is something
that you require from our main store in Cheney Manor but you
can't make it there, for a small fee of £2, we can arrange
for it to be at the tented market within 2 days ready for
you to collect. This includes things from our eBay store!
Repaint your Community Centre, Class room, Scout Hut,
front room or even your downstairs loo!
We have got some great NEW
high quality paint that is
available right now for £1 per litre. We have nearly 1000
Litres in stock! Come and grab
yourself a bargain!

Scrapstore is recruiting 3 more 18-24 year olds that have
been long term unemployed from August 2010 for 6
months to help them gain work experience, skills and
training to enable them to gain employment in the future.
Under the FJF we welcome the newest members of the team to
Scrapstore - Huw & Dave who started in March 2010. Huw is responsible for Marketing
and Membership, Dave is now responsible for the Store and
collections. They also do a lot of the back of house
reporting that you don't know about.
UPDATE. If you are 18 - 24 in September 2010, currently
long-term unemployed,
we will be recruiting 3 new employees throughout August.
The positions are:
- eBay Trading Assistant
- Marketing & Membership Assistant / Co-ordinator
- Stores & Drivers Assistant
These positions will be advertised in the Swindon Jobcentreplus and through other local
Jobcentreplus locations. You cannot apply
direct to Swindon Children's Scrapstore.

would you like to jump for free* and have the time of your
life?
You can either jump tandem or solo.
Everything will be taken care of to match you to a suitable
jump location and date. Go on ... you know you want to!

25 Years Old!
Scrapstore is 25 years old in June 2010 - look out for
further information on the event we are organising to
celebrate this occasion.

Donate your old mobile phones and bits
to us!
Help us raise funds and help the
environment. We can recycle your mobile phones in an
environmentally friendly way. If they are in good condition,
they will be refurbished and passed on to a charity that
helps out third world countries.
If you are a company and have a
collection of phones and accessories, we can schedule a
collection from your location as part of our bi-weekly collections

We are offering groups the opportunity
for us to come to them and do craft sessions £30 per hour
all or most of the materials included.
This includes working with local
artists Gordon Dickinson and Toni Robinson from the group
'No Added Sugar' going into schools and any other organisation or home for the day doing 'Waste
Education Creative Art Workshops' using re-usable materials. They are really good fun as well as educational!
