Scrapstore and eBay.
It's a little known fact that Scrapstore has been trading on eBay for well over 2 years now.
Any items that are donated to us and are in a saleable condition, we list on eBay to help raise funds towards the operating costs of the charity. We can also sell your things on eBay on your behalf. Contact us for more details.
If you are interested in our eBay store, click the big logo!
You can also donate to Scrapstore through your own eBay sales. When you list an item and get to the "Choose how you would like to sell your item", there is an option to "raise money for your favorite charity through eBay".
- Click the "or, select another charity" link.
- When the box pops up, type Scrapstore in the "charity name or keyword" box and click on the "search" button.
- It should come up with our details.
- Click the "Select" button and that will put us on your listing.
- All that's left to do is chose the donation percentage.
- Not only that Mission Fish also claim gift aid (28p per £1) on our behalf, where appropriate, from the buyer without anyone having to do anything but put a tick in a box!
NB. Scrapstore operates a policy for visitors, members, staff & volunteers prohibiting them from selling on any goods obtained from Scrapstore (either donation or free as part of a membership) for their own personal benefit.
If you are fund raising for charity or such group, please obtain permission first. Anyone found contravening this policy will have their membership revoked with out question or refund. In serious cases where the item has been sold for personal gain, we will prosecute the individual responsible.
