The charity is focused on raising funds and building up general reserves with the intention of purchasing a building. In the past we have relocated premises 5 times through no fault of our own and due to the impact this has had on the charity, our volunteers and local community we are hoping to purchase a building to enable us to provide a secure and permanent premises. This will ensure the charity has a permanent home and provide a sustainable service for the Swindon community.
We have currently raised £150,000 through fundraising events, donations from our service users and income from sales generated through the arts and crafts shop. Our target goal for a deposit on a building is £300,000 and we are looking for additional sources of income to help us reach our goal. The cost of purchasing a property is expected to amount to approximately £750,000.
