Swindon Children's Scrapstore is a local community resource centre and
environmental charity, which collects businesses redundant reusable materials
for the benefit of the local community.
Turning Waste Things into Play things’ through art, educational and recreational
activity. Scrapstore educates children, parents, child minders, play leaders and
play professionals about re-use and recycling.By collecting
local business's clean, reusable waste, we save over 100 tonnes of waste from
landfill every year!
We also buy in products for our shop, such as some of our
seasonal range and pass on the discount we get to our customers and members.
Our shop and premises are wheelchair friendly and fully
accessible to people with disabilities.

Our membership, consisting of over 100 community groups, can then collect these
materials for use in recreational and educational craft and play. With the new
grading of our membership, you can also get a discount in our ReCreation shop.
